Trauma, cultural overlays, adaptive patterns—and even the parts of ourselves we’ve relegated to the shadow—can all cloud self-perception. Even longtime students and teachers are sometimes surprised to learn they’ve been living from a mistyped identity.

At DCI, we approach the typing process as a discovery interview—a guided conversation that helps you see more clearly what is true for you. Our role is not to assign a label, but to listen deeply, notice what emerges, and support you in recognizing your type with accuracy and clarity.
